Dacoda Nichole Jones, who also did not mention Rice directly, posted a series of photos on Instagram that appeared to show indicators of bodily harm. She stated the individual in question was the father of her children, and reports indicate she has kids with Rice, whom the team selected in the 2023 draft.

Police Reports Reportedly Not on File

No police reports were available in the Kansas City suburb where the incident is said to have taken place.

Player's Recent Legal Issues

Rice missed the initial part of this season due to an NFL suspension for his involvement in instigating a multi-vehicle accident on a Texas roadway that left multiple people hurt. Rice was sentenced 30 days in jail and five years’ probation after entering a guilty plea to felony charges.

On the field, Rice finished the season with 53 catches for 571 receiving yards and five touchdowns as the Kansas City went 6-11 and missed the playoffs for the first time in a decade.
